Although the weather was picture-perfect for testing on Thursday afternoon, Mother Nature brought us cold and windy conditions that forced the cancellation of the Opening Night of racing at Auto City Speedway. The news broke around 9:00 a.m. Saturday that the evenings show was canceled.
"We are very disappointed that they had to cancel Opening Night," Kyle Hayden remarked, "the car was pretty good at the test session Thursday, and we were really looking forward to getting down to business" Hayden was among the fastest of the nine Auto City Super Stock cars on hand at the Test & Tune session Thursday. Auto City was expecting around 15 cars for the first race of the 2010 season.
